Climate of Salasar Dham
The climate of Rajasthan can be divided into four seasons: 1 Summers, 2 Monsoon, 3 Post-Monsoon and 4 winter.
1 Summers
A summer, which extends from April to June, is the hottest season, with temperatures ranging
from 32 degree C to 45 degree C. in western Rajasthan the temp may rise to 48 degree C, particularly
in May and June. At this time, Rajasthan's only hill station, Mt Abu registers the lowest
temperatures. in the desert regions, the temperature drops at night. Prevailing winds are
from the west and sometimes carry dust storms (we call them aandhi).
2 Monsoon
The second season Monsoon extends from July to September, temp drops, but humidity increases,
even when there is slight drop in the temp (35 degree C to 40 degree C). 90% of rains occur during
this period.
3 Post-Monsoon
The Post-monsoon period is from October to November. The average maximum temperature is 33 degree
C to 38 degree C, and the minimum is between 18 degree C and 20 degree C.
4 winter
The fourth season is Winter or the cold season, from December to March. There is a marked variation
in maximum and minimum temperatures, and regional variations across the state. January is the
coolest month of the year. And temp may drop to 0 degree C in some cities of Rajasthan, like
Churu. There is slight precipitation in the north and northeastern region of the state, and
light winds, predominantly from the north and northeast. At this time, relative humidity ranges
from 50% to 60% in the morning, and 25% to 35% in the afternoon.

* Hanuman Jayanti
Hanuman Jayanthi is celebrated to commemorate the
birth of Hanuman, the son of Vayu – God of winds – and Anjana, the monkey god
widely venerated throughout India. It is celebrated during Chaitra and is especially
important to Brahmacharis, wrestlers and bodybuilders. Hanuman was an ardent devotee
of Rama, and is worshipped for his unflinching devotion to the god.

* Rama Navami
Ramanavami celebrates the birth of Rama or Ramachandra.
The festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu
month of Chaitra. It was on this day that Vishnu incarnated as Rama through Dasharatha’s
wife Kaushalya. In some parts of India, it is a nine-day festival, coinciding
with the Vasanta Navaratri. It finds mention in ancient texts and literature.

* Tuesday
Tuesday is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Durga, Goddess Kali and Lord
Hanuman. Most devotees visit Devi and Hanuman shrines. Those people
who fast avoid taking food containing salt at night.
In Hinduism, each day in a week is dedicated to a particular deity in the
Hindu pantheon. Tuesday or Mangalvar is dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

* Saturday
Saturday is dedicated to alleviating the bad influence of Lord Shani. The
Vrat on this day is mainly observed by those people who believe in Hindu
astrology. Black is the color of the day and people visit Shani shrine or
Navagraha shrines. Food is only consumed once on the day.
